I have selected a beautiful piece of rare pirate black sea glass picked from the Isle of Wight beaches, This is an unusual shade. This pendant necklace is teemed with a heart shaped lampwork glass handmade bead. It has a lobster clasp, 1.1mm Width.
Each piece of glass is handpicked from the beaches on the Isle of Wight, tumbled in the sand and waves to become smooth and frosted, the process takes 20 to 40 years sometimes over 100 years, creating vintage glass. The tide, the sun and the moon are infused into the essence of the sea glass. washed upon the shore and waiting to be discovered, like a gift from the universe. a pure, magical sea glass gem, charged with spiritual healing of the ocean. and so this feeling of calmness, of peace and tranquility is evoked every time you wear your beautiful sea glass jewellery.

History of your glass
Black glass or “Pirate glass”, is glass that looks black, but when held up to the light, its true colour is revealed. Black sea glass is often from very old antique bottles that had a high iron content in order to stop sunlight from reaching and spoiling its contents. It was handmade and thus very old, it could date back as far as the 1700’s and is thicker than other types of sea glass. This piece of ocean glass is a rare find.
Each piece of Sea glass that gets washed up is unique therefore it creates a one of a kind piece of jewellery to be treasured as a special gift. I carefully cleanse the sea glass with water and oils before hand drilling them and creating them into one of a kind pieces of jewellery.
Sea Glass is symbolic of healing and renewal of life.
****PLEASE NOTE****- All my sea glass is genuine sea glass hand picked across the British coast. Therefore the necklaces are one of a kind pieces. The colour changes slightly under different lighting and is affected by colours behind the glass.
